Worth mentioning, in July, the export value of mobile phones and components increased again, surpassing the group of computers, electronic products and components to become the group of products with export value. Vietnam’s highest import turnover. The reason is that in the past month, Samsung launched a new smartphone model Galaxy Note20 and officially went on sale globally this month.

From the beginning of the year until now, the raging Covid-19 epidemic has caused many difficulties for import and export activities of the whole country. Therefore, the trade surplus is considered a bright spot for the whole economy.

According to economic experts, the trade surplus also brings about many positive effects on macroeconomics. Stable foreign exchange reserves have contributed to stabilizing exchange rates, creating market confidence for businesses to continue to invest in production expansion.

Facing difficulties caused by the epidemic, in order to facilitate export activities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is implementing many solutions such as: promoting trade promotion through e-commerce; propaganda about the upcoming FTAs; continue to cut unnecessary import and export procedures; requesting Vietnamese Trade Offices in foreign countries to seek new markets for Vietnamese goods… From there, reaching the target, the export turnover will reach 300 billion USD in 2020./.
